After a short delay, surveys are out!

Hi All!

Quick update for you! We're terribly sorry for the delay, but Backerkit surveys were finally sent out yesterday! If you haven't checked your email inbox yet, it should be waiting for you! 

That said, there are a couple of instances where you may not be able to find the email.

• Spam Folder: The emails coming from Backerkit can occasionally be sorted into your spam folder, so be sure to check there.
• Apple ID Emails: If the email address tied to your Kickstarter account is a secure Apple ID address, the survey email may have been blocked entirely. The email addresses look something like this:  "[email protected]". If this applies to you, please send us a message with your preferred email address and we will update what we have on file in Backerkit and send the survey again.

Well, that's a wrap folks! After 22 days, you guys all have helped raise over $126,000 to make the hardcover and paperback editions of Mother of Learning: ARC 2 a reality! That is amazing, and thank you so much! 😁

NEXT STEPS

Now with the campaign done, here is what you can expect in the coming weeks and months.

• First, Kickstarter will process all of your payments. That will take approximately 15 days.
• Once the payments have been processed, we will send out surveys from Backerkit to the email addresses you have attached to your Kickstarter account. If you have questions about how to use Backerkit, please click here.
•  Answer your survey questions and grab any add-ons you want. We will keep orders open until we have the products and are ready to ship. During that time, you can use the same survey link from Backerkit to make any desired changes to your order, address, etc. 
• When we have all the products and are ready to ship, we will send out another email from Backerkit, giving you a 48-hour window to finalize your orders before they are locked. 
• Once your orders are locked, we will send out another email indicating that we will charge your cards for any additional items/shipping in 48 hours. 
• After processing any further charges, we'll send out a third email with another 48-hour window to update your address if needed. 
• With addresses locked, we will start packing and shipping. 

HOW SHIPPING WORKS

We pack and ship orders by their contents, typically from the largest quantity and simplest of similar orders, down to the smallest and most complex. This means that we tend to ship a lot of orders very quickly at first before slowing down at the end because the remaining orders are more complicated.

For Example: Let's say we have 100 backers. 60 of them ordered 1 hardcover, 25 ordered a hardcover and a paperback, 10 ordered 2 hardcovers, and 5 ordered a hardcover, paperback, and a custom art piece. We're going to pack the orders for the group of 60 first, followed by the group of 25, and so on.

100K and still going!

Hi Everyone!

Apologies for the late update! We couldn't be more excited that we've crossed the $100k threshold, and we've been hard at work finalizing the design for that new stretch goal that we just unlocked!

Everyone in the $20 tier and above will be getting an iron-on patch of the Sovereign Gate emblem! Our initial mockup can be seen below. We've been working with our patch supplier to get the design's interior stitched with metallic gold thread to give them an extra pop that's sure to turn heads!

 We'll post another update with the proof once we get it from our supplier!

$90k! We're getting REAL close to that final $100k Stretch Goal!

Hi everyone!

Like the title says, $60k in the first 24 hours is amazing! Mother of Learning: ARC 1 didn't hit that level until four days into the campaign, so thank you all for the terrific first day!

So far, we've unlocked an exclusive interior illustration that will be added to all ARC 2 copies— hardcover and paperback. We've also unlocked an upgrade to the hardcover end sheets! Now, rather than just a custom design, they'll be full-on art pieces illustrated by the talented Daniel Kamarudin and Asur Misoa! 

We have one more planned stretch goal to go and perhaps more depending on how high we climb.
